Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has vented out over the false narrative instilled in children when growing up.
He noted how when we were young, they told us working hard and praying hard, will help us get everything we want but that saying was a lie from the out of hell. He stated that one the should have told them is that working hard and praying hard doesn’t guarantee success, especially working cause praying hard guarantees nothing. However, he believes working and praying guarantees experience and growth.
“When we were young, they told us; if we work hard and pray hard, we will get everything we want, that saying was a lie from the pit of hell.
What they should have told us is; we working hard and praying hard doesn’t guarantee success (especially working cos praying hard guarantees nothing), but it’s sure guarantees experience and growth”.
