Popular online motivational speakers arrested for smuggling cocaine in Dubai

Popular online motivational speaker and self-proclaimed millionaire, Samuel Onuha, has been arrested in Dubai along with his brother, Reuben Onuha, for smuggling 250kg of cocaine into the country.

Authorities say Samuel was heavily involved in an illegal drug operation, which led to his arrest at his $50 million mansion in Dubai.

The two brothers were well known for their lavish lifestyles, often sharing photos and videos of their luxury trips, expensive designer clothes, and high-end cars with their thousands of social media followers.

Now, as they wait for their trial in Dubai, their future is uncertain. If found guilty, they could face up to 25 years in prison—a shocking downfall for a man once admired as a successful entrepreneur and motivational speaker.

Before his arrest, Samuel portrayed himself as a self-made millionaire and a champion of financial independence.

On social media, he described himself as follows:

“My name is Samuel Onuha. A 25-year-old self-made millionaire living in Amsterdam and Dubai. I wasn’t born rich. I grew up in a small village in the Netherlands with nothing. I moved from being broke to changing my life entirely in just a few years.”

Samuel frequently shared his journey from poverty to wealth, claiming he dropped out of school after achieving success with his first online business, despite doubts from those around him.

He presented himself as a role model for young entrepreneurs, urging them to pursue wealth and financial success.

The arrest of the Onuha brothers has left many social media users in shock, sparking widespread debate about the true source of their wealth.

While Samuel projected the image of a thriving businessman, it has now been revealed that his fortune was built on illegal activities.
