Former NBA player Iman Shumpert and singer Teyana Taylor have officially settled their divorce, finalizing a significant financial agreement.
The couple, who separated in 2023 after eight years of marriage, reached a legal settlement in June 2024. According to reports, Taylor will receive four luxury properties worth over $10 million, a one-time payment in the millions, and several high-end vehicles, including a $300,000 Maybach, a $70,000 Mercedes Sprinter, and a tour bus. She will also retain full ownership of her businesses, securing her financial independence.
Shumpert has agreed to pay $8,000 per month in child support for their two daughters and cover their private school tuition to ensure their continued education.
Despite the split, Taylor has emphasized that their separation was amicable and not due to infidelity. In a past Instagram post, she clarified, “In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.” She also highlighted their strong co-parenting dynamic, calling themselves “the best of friends, great business partners, and one hell of a team” in raising their children.
Meanwhile, Taylor continues to focus on her career and family while also sparking dating rumors. She recently attended the Oscars with actor Aaron Pierre, leading to speculation about her love life.
