Musician and media personality, Charly Boy, has called on famous cleric, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere popularly called Prophet Odumeje, to use his power in saving Nigeria from burning.
The music veteran made the pleas while reacting to the comment the refinery of billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote caught fire because he failed to heed his call when he prophesied a disaster at the refinery.
The controversial preacher insisted that Dangote’s pride and disbelief in his prophesy brought about a disaster that could have been avoided.
“If Dangote humbled himself to come here, that refinery would not burn. He will not spend that money; he is spending billions of dollars to repair the factory because of pride and looking down on a prophet,” he said.
Charly Boy lamented in a social media post that Nigeria’s economy is plummeting, adding that the country is desperately in need.
He urged Odumeje to leave Dangote alone as he is a wealthy man not affected by the economy, hence why the cleric should focus on the hunger in the country.
Charly Boy said: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.
“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need. Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”
