Chaos has broken out in Barikallahu, a small community near the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, after a violent clash involving soldiers led to the shooting of three civilians.
The incident reportedly started at a viewing center when an argument over a woman turned into a fight between two soldiers.
A local resident got involved, and one of the soldiers called for reinforcements. When the backup arrived, instead of calming the situation, they allegedly attacked civilians, beating several people before opening fire.
Eyewitnesses say that one community member was shot in the head and died immediately, while two others were injured and taken to the hospital.
Angered by the violence, residents of Barikallahu have taken to the streets in protest, demanding justice and accountability from the Nigerian Air Force.
The situation remains tense as the community calls for an investigation into the attack.
