Nigerian singer Burna Boy has taken a subtle dig at influencer Sophia Egbueje following the leak of an audio recording involving her.
The two have been in the spotlight after the leaked audio revealed details of their alleged relationship and Sophia’s claim that Burna Boy failed to fulfill his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.
Amid the controversy, Burna Boy seemingly responded in a video shared on his Instagram, where he sang lyrics saying, “I no buy Lambo… is that why you’re shouting?” subtly mocking Sophia in the process.
The video quickly went viral, sparking massive reactions. While many saw it as a direct jab at Sophia, some criticized Burna Boy for being immature, arguing that he should have ignored the situation instead of responding.
