On Monday, President Bola Tinubu stated that every decision he has made so far, including the removal of fuel subsidies, is focused on the future of Nigerian youths.
Speaking at the launch of the Planning Committee for the National Youth Conference in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized that the ongoing economic reforms aim to strengthen the economy and create opportunities for the younger generation, who make up over 60% of Nigeria’s population.
He reassured the youth, saying, “You are the hope of this nation, and everything depends on you. Every decision I’ve taken is for your benefit and your future. When we removed the fuel subsidy, it was to protect your future. We have cleared the way for you to have a bright and prosperous future.”
