The Nigerian President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomed the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on Wednesday morning.
Steinmeier, who touched down in Abuja on Tuesday evening, met with President Tinubu as part of his official visit to the country. Earlier, the German Embassy had announced that Steinmeier would hold discussions with Tinubu and the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Alieu Touray.
Following his engagements in Abuja, Steinmeier is scheduled to travel to Lagos, where he will meet business leaders, visit a startup hub, and interact with prominent figures from Nigeria’s cultural and civil society sectors, including Dr. Nike Okundaye and Prof. Wole Soyinka.
