A Nigerian lady is demanding justice after revealing how an InDrive driver assaulted her for requesting air conditioning (AC) during a trip.
The lady showed off the bruises on her face and the damage to her lips after the driver attacked her simply because she asked for AC.
In a video she shared online, she is seen crying as she displays the bruises on her face.
She also shared a video of her confronting the InDrive driver, arguing with him for beating her over the AC issue.
In a lengthy write-up, she explained what transpired between her and the InDrive driver.
She disclosed that she is not the type to cause trouble and had no intention of provoking the driver, especially considering how late it was at night.
She mentioned that when the driver told her the AC wasn’t working, she responded that he should have informed her earlier so she could have canceled the ride.
However, when the driver arrived, she felt pity for him after he said he had wasted fuel, so she decided to proceed with the trip.
After he dropped her off at her apartment in the estate, she was about to transfer the payment to him when she jokingly said she would deduct some fare since there was no AC.
She explained that the driver didn’t even look at her face to see if she was smiling or joking. Instead, he angrily confronted her. She remained calm and continued asking for his account number, as she intended to send the full amount.
The driver refused to provide his account number and kept questioning how much she would send him. He then parked his car, got out, and caused a scene.
She said he pointed fingers at her, but she still asked for his account number. Suddenly, the man slapped her twice.
Shocked, the lady removed her wig, dropped it along with her bag, and slapped him back.
The driver pushed her away, picked up her wig, and attempted to drive off. She ran toward the gate and instructed the guards to lock it and prevent the driver from leaving.
While she was explaining the situation to the guards, the driver got out of his car and began hitting her directly in the face. She had no choice but to fight back.
The lady described how the driver brutally attacked her face. She is now seeking justice and has shared the driver’s face and details online.
