Nigerian TV presenter and event host, Toke Makinwa has revealed that there are actions and decisions she regrets in life.

Makinwa said she spent years trying to prove that she’s a good person, but now that she knows better she will not do that anymore.

She stated this in an Instagram post, as she noted that one begging for their value to be appreciated either in marriage, at the office or in friendships will never work out.

The media personality further said that she does not need to convince anybody to see a reason to work with her, as the fault is on anybody who does not see it.

Makinwa wrote: “Not just in marriage alone, In Friendships, Work relationships, or any kind of association, Begging for your value to be seen or appreciated will never work. May you never have to beg people or prove your value to anyone. If they don’t see it, let them go.

“I don’t need to convince you to see reasons to be in my life or work with me, If you don’t see it, that’s on you and it is not a question of it not being good enough too.

“I’m at a point in my life where I’ve wasted years trying to prove l’m a good person, Not anymore. I’ll happily set you free.”
