Ghanaian actor and Pastor Michel delivers a sermon that presented a distinct viewpoint on the miracles of Jesus Christ.
Majid stated that Jesus did not personally heal the sick or raise the dead, contrary to popular belief based on biblical accounts.
“Do you know Jesus never healed the sick nor raised the dead? Jesus never let the blind see” he said.
Majid referenced biblical teachings and Jesus’ own words to emphasize this perspective:
“Do you know what Jesus said? ‘I do nothing by myself. As I see the Father do, I do. In other words, I am Jesus, I have a will, but I will not use my will; only the will of my Father I came to do.’”
Majid also drew on the biblical account of Satan’s temptation of Jesus, noting that acting without God’s permission is sin against God.
“If the devil had gotten Jesus to turn that stone to bread without asking his Father’s permission, he had gotten him to sin and that is what you call sin—separation from God, independence from God.”
He encouraged his congregation to seek God’s will in their decision-making, rather than relying solely on personal plans and desires.
“When you throw your own plans and make your own decisions without consulting the Father, you have sinned.”
