A Nigerian man has accused the police of working with Uber, Bolt, and cab drivers to target passengers. In a post that went viral on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed these drivers share information about their passengers with the police, allowing officers to stop, search, and extort money from them.
“These Uber and Bolt drivers in Lagos, and cab drivers across Nigeria, who tip off the police- you pick up a young passenger, and the next thing, you’re on your phone, sending information to the police.” He stated.
