India : Pandurang Ulpe’s family was in shock when they noticed something unbelievable. They were on their way to cremate the 65-year-old man when the ambulance hit a speed bump, and his fingers started moving.
“We were stunned. We quickly turned the ambulance around and rushed him back to the hospital, where doctors stabilized him. Yes, my grandfather is alive now,” Omkar Ramane, Ulpe’s grandson, told a local newspaper on Thursday.
The incident happened on December 16, and Ulpe, now fully recovered, was finally discharged from the hospital on December 30. His story went viral this week after a video surfaced on social media showing him walking back into his house, surrounded by happy relatives.
According to his family, Ulpe had just returned home from his farm on December 16 when he started vomiting and feeling unwell. His wife immediately called for help.
Ramane explained that Ulpe was first taken to a private hospital in Kasba Bawda, where he lives. “Doctors there said it was a heart attack,” he added.
