Afrobeats star Asake has finally spoken out after a man named Fatai Odunsi, who claims to be his biological father, publicly asked for financial help. Odunsi, who is reportedly battling a stroke, had shared a video appealing for support, which brought the issue into the spotlight.
In a new video posted on TikTok, Asake addressed the situation indirectly. He sang a heartfelt song about how it’s impossible to please everyone and encouraged people to focus on living for God. While he didn’t directly mention his father, Asake hinted at being pressured for money despite having already sent a significant amount to him.
This response comes amid ongoing discussions about the family situation, with Asake choosing to share his thoughts through music rather than directly addressing the claims.
“You Can’t Please Everyone, You Can’t Please the world, But anything you are doing just do it for God, My Own Father Wants to Cajole Me and I Have Sent So Much Money to him, I have struggled for so many years but they want to make Life to Tire Me” – Asake said.
