It looks like Afrobeats singer Mr. May D chose violence over peace today as he issued an open warning via his X handle.
Mr. May D cautioned that he should no longer be compared to anyone in the industry, as some people have been doing.
He emphasized that he should not be compared to Wizkid in particular because he is a different breed.
In his words:
” Don’t ever compare me to anyone in this industry again!! Especially wiz!! I’m a different breed!!! GOD’s baby”
Earlier this year, Mr. May D stated that he was once bigger than Wizkid and Davido.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, May D described himself, Wizkid, and Davido as the top three Nigerian artists of their time, claiming that he was once more prominent than the other two.
