Popular singer, Dammy Krane drags Wizkid for denouncing Afrobeats and claiming to be an RnB artiste.

It would be recalled that Wizkid recently distanced himself from the label of being referred to as an ‘Afrobeats’ artist.

He had noted that he creates music for various genre, not just Afrobeats, and referring to him as an Afrobeats musician would only be akin to boxing him in.

Dammy Krane who reacted to this stated that Wizkid would always be an Afrobeats artiste no matter how he tries to distance imself from the genre.

His words:

“Ex Nigerian singer Wizkid sang Essence and he now says he is not An Afrobeats artiste again that he is now an RNB artiste, Wizkid that is your father’s business whatever you do will always be A Sub Genre of Afrobeats.”
