A Nigerian man has called out Seyi Tinubu, the son of the president, for sharing plates of jollof rice in the North. Seyi Tinubu has been sharing food with Nigerians daily to help them break their fast since the start of Ramadan.
While many have praised Seyi Tinubu’s gesture, some Nigerians are not impressed. Recently, a video trending online showed Muslims in the North receiving plates of jollof rice one after the other.
Commenting on the video, a man called out Seyi Tinubu for his act of kindness. According to him, Seyi Tinubu is acting like a president and attempting to buy the loyalty of Nigerians through his gestures.
The man described Seyi Tinubu’s actions as sacrilegious.
In his words:
” We’ve never stopped this low in our entire life. The son of the president and acting vice president,Seyi Tinubu, coming to the far north, just to share plates of jollof rice. This is sacrilege.”
