A Ghanaian businessman has been praised by individuals after he was spotted removing refuse disposed of in an open gutter with his hands.
In the video sighted by Happen.ng, the man, who was decently dressed, wore a black polythene bag on his hands as he collected the refuse disposed of in an open gutter in front of his shop.
The background voice narrated that the man had been abroad for many years and is very humble despite his wealth. It was further mentioned that his luxury car was parked in front of the gutter where he was picking up the refuse.
The narrator praised the businessman for his actions and said that not many rich men would do such a thing.
The businessman has been hailed by netizens after the video was shared online. Social media users have called for collective action to redefine environmental sanitation.
