A trending video of a Church Bishop ordaining a new minister for service has sparked outrage on social media.
In the video sighted by Happen.ng, the officiating Church Bishop stood in front of the minister, who was about to be ordained, as he knelt down.
The Church Bishop poured water on the new minister’s head and rubbed his hand over it. He later drank some of the water from the bottle and gave some to the new minister.
However, what generated massive discussion on social media was the moment the Church Bishop exchanged tongues with the new minister he was ordaining for service.
This act, exhibited by the two clergymen, has made Nigerians react and question the practices of the men of God. To many, this is not Christianity but a different practice.
Others said the act by the two clergymen appeared ‘g@yish’, while some shared different views.
