Maureen Bahema, an East African woman living in Sweden, has shared advice for women, urging those who are not prepared to submit to their partners before marriage to make way for those who are.
She emphasized that wearing a wedding ring won’t magically make someone submissive the day after getting married.
The Lady explained that submission doesn’t happen instantly. Instead, it’s a process that starts during the relationship, long before marriage. She believes it’s important for women to understand this and be ready to embrace it if they choose to commit to a partnership.
“Ladies, if you can’t submit to a man in a relationship, you won’t submit to him in marriage. A ring on your finger won’t suddenly bring a spirit of submission the day after your wedding. Submission doesn’t happen overnight. It begins in a relationship. You either step up or step aside for the woman who will!!,” she wrote on X on Sunday, March 16.
