A young Nigerian entrepreneur, Adeife Adeoya, has gone viral after sharing an emotional video online, opening up about the struggles of running a business. In the heartfelt TikTok clip, she tearfully expressed her frustration after an employee unexpectedly quit.
Adeife is the founder of Remote WorkHer, an organization that helps women working remotely. She explained that she started the platform as a passion project before turning it into a full-fledged business. Over time, she worked hard to grow her brand, brought in consultants to improve operations, and implemented new strategies to succeed.
However, her efforts hit a major setback when her community manager, who managed her online platform, resigned without warning. In the video, Adeife admitted feeling overwhelmed and unsure about what to do next. Despite trying to keep her team happy by increasing salaries and making other improvements, she shared that employees kept leaving.
In the caption of her post, she wrote:
