The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, over an alleged incident involving a snake at the Government House.
In a statement released on Sunday, APC Secretary Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba confirmed Sani-Giant’s immediate suspension, citing the February 8, 2025, event as a violation of the party’s principles.
The statement alleged that Sani-Giant’s actions caused panic and fear among high-ranking officials, dignitaries, and statesmen, creating a situation the party described as both inappropriate and deeply embarrassing.
His suspension will remain in place while the matter is under investigation, with potential disciplinary actions including expulsion if similar misconduct occurs in the future.
