Mallam steals iPhone 14 Pro Max from a sleeping Man in a Mosque & tried to sell it for ₦35,000 but before he was caught

A man has been arrested for stealing an iPhone 14 Pro Max valued at ₦1.1 million from someone who was sleeping in a mosque. The thief later tried to sell the phone at a market for just ₦35,000.

The incident was recorded in a video that went viral on TikTok. In the video, the victim shared how his phone was stolen and later recovered after the thief took it to a shop to sell it.

The victim explained that he had fallen asleep inside the mosque and woke up five minutes later to find his phone missing. When he tried calling his number, he realized the phone had been turned off.

He said, “I was in the mosque for some time and woke up after five minutes, only to discover my phone was gone. There were about four men around, but we didn’t suspect them. When I tried calling my phone, it was switched off.”

After reporting the theft, the victim received a call from someone asking for his phone’s password. The caller told him that a man had brought the phone to a shop, trying to sell it for a very low price.
