Nigerian Churchgoers kill and display Owl they claim came to steal their destinies

A video circulating on the internet shows churchgoers holding an owl they killed, claiming the bird was sent to steal their destinies.

The churchgoers in the video shared this belief and killed the owl after spotting it during their prayer meeting.

In the footage, a man believed to be leading the prayer session is seen holding the dead owl while explaining the situation to the congregation, who clap in response.

He claimed the owl was sent to take the destinies and prosperity of those gathered.

The man then prayed and gave instructions on how to pray against things that block prosperity or steal one’s destiny.

The video received mixed reactions on social media.
