Porsha Williams delayed Wedding to Simon Guobadia until he showed his finances-Court documents reveal

Porsha Williams is fully committed to her legal fight with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, as their dispute over their prenuptial agreement intensifies. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has brought in an important witness to support her case.

New court documents show that Porsha, 43, submitted a statement from her former lawyer, Jordan B. Forman, who worked with her in 2021 during the prenup talks with Simon, 60. Jordan’s statement claims that Simon, with his lawyer Alex Cutler, caused significant delays in the process because he didn’t fully share his financial information.

“The negotiations took months,” Jordan said in the filing. “The main issue was [Simon’s] failure to provide details about his income, assets, and debts.”

Jordan also said that Porsha refused to set a wedding date until Simon provided his financial records.

“The couple initially planned to get married in August or September 2022, but those plans were delayed—partly because [Simon] wasn’t open about his finances,” the statement reads. “Because of this, the wedding was pushed back to Thanksgiving week in late November 2022.”

Court documents reveal that Simon finally shared his financial details in the fall of 2022, and the couple signed the final prenup at his lawyer’s office on November 17—just days before their wedding.

Fifteen months later, in February 2024, Porsha filed for divorce. Now, Simon is challenging the validity of their prenup.

The court was supposed to address the issue this month, but in a surprising turn of events, Simon was arrested by ICE over alleged immigration problems—adding another complication to their already messy separation.
