Arsenal and Real Madrid will each miss a key player in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final match next month due to suspensions.
Arsenal will be without Raheem Sterling, who received a yellow card in the final moments of their 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. Sterling, who had two assists in the match, was already at risk of suspension, along with teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber. However, Martinelli and Timber avoided bookings as they came off the bench and played only a few minutes.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be missing Aurelien Tchouameni for the first leg in North London. Tchouameni was also booked during their last-16 second-leg match against Atletico Madrid.
The two teams last faced each other in 2006, with Arsenal winning 1-0 on aggregate, thanks to a memorable goal from Thierry Henry.
